Sol Azul
Like a candle wanting a flame
To burn away the cold
Empty pages turning away in the Southern winds
Inside my room still
Then the night burst into a thousand colored dreams
Standing there I watched my life before me change
Hoping you will stay
Looking for you years go by
I'm looking for you
When will I find
Laughter in your eyes
With each step through the seasons I've been walking alone
My restless moon is lost in the horizons behind the clouds
Outside in the world still
Then I held your image so clear to me in my dreams
And together we watched the dawn between the hills
Asking will you stay
You look at me the night is full
And all my faces fall away
My soul exposed my hands are old
The touch of one brings back the dawn
The dance is new the steps are changing
Echoing the waning sol azul
Through the years we discovered each other's pain
All along tearing through each other's hearts in vain
Behind our walls still
And I hope as we walk this one that we find out dreams
Not forgotten from the smallness never cease
Wishing you will stay
Every night I'm drawn into the language of your eyes
And all the storytellers know the truth
You hypnotize me with your life
And autumn rises winters fall
Beneath the halting turning sol azul
I travel to soft places
Find my poetry inside the lands
Your window drew a light within me
Heaven on an open hand
Blue diamond dance and fill my heart
With hues to match the changing sol azul |

To Edafos
After the moon
Within the moments
Before the light comes
To touch me
My dreams show the way
As I stand there suddenly
The earth moves out
From under my feet
Rain Falls
Stepping ahead
Stepping behind
Life begins from water
The earth moves out
From under my hands
I close my eyes
Fire on my wings
Wind brings on the dusk
I smile secretly in my mind
As I stand there suddenly
The earth moves out
from under my body
We live a tangled life
Without enough time
I figured that I still needed
To find laughter
Yet in the oceans the world
Will float deeply
Then close to me will pass
A pain within my heart
Night and day
I sense myself alone
Least the weight comes
Least the light comes
